Do you believe in Cayenne Pepper

So what are we putting in the trolley this week? Cayenne Pepper! Yes, cayenne pepper is a great spice that increases the heat of any dish. But did you know that it could be used to help digestion, including heal upset stomachs, slow intestinal gas, stop stomach pain or cure diarrhoea? My ultimate authority on this... my mom! She adds a pinch of it into black rooibos for tea, into warm water for a head ache, and to her curry to clean out the system! :p

If you don't believe my mom - which life has taught me I should, take a look at this doctors take on cayenne pepper. He provides good ways to use it as well.

Another interesting way to use it especially if you want to cleanse, lose body fat, and boost energy, then add this natural detox drink to your diet.

Cayenne Pepper Detox
- 1 glass of warm or hot water - 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar. - 2 tablespoon lemon juice. - ½-1 teaspoon ground ginger. - ¼ teaspoon cinnamon. - 1 dash cayenne pepper. - 1 teaspoon raw, local honey.
Try drinking this three times daily 20 minutes before meals for two weeks, then once a day before breakfast or lunch.
